The free market doesn’t give a fuck about you or society…
The free market’s job is to make money. If it can do that by providing a service, it will, if it can make more money but gutting that service, it will.
The fact that society is crumbling under capitalism isn’t a sign of capitalism’s failure, its the capitalists realising a LOT more profit can be made by ripping society apart than by serving it.
That’s why doors are falling of Boeing planes, that’s why every industry has mass lay offs, that’s why everything in the supermarket is shrinking while prices skyrocket, that’s why they devastate natural environments to dig for more coal or harvest rainforests, that’s why Skydance is monopolising all mass media production, that’s why they are dropping bombs on Palestine and Somalia, and why Congolese kids are working in big tech lithium mines, so techbros can build camera’s everywhere to spy on you 24/7…
This is not failure to capitalism, this is maximising shareholder value, the only metric by which success is measured.
The fact that the world it creates is a nightmare dystopia with no future, is simply the cost of doing business under capitalism.
The free market simply means the worst people on earth are FREE from the consequences of their actions.
Socialism exists, to prove them wrong.
